Bunnies, Bunnies, Everywhere!

Here Comes Peter Cottontail, Hopping Down the Bunny Trail...Hippity, Hoppity, Easter's on it's Way...Well, it's passed but these critters were in my sister's backyard today and I couldn't resist stalking them.Lol!

My First Cannelloni Dish

I decided to surprise Leigh with a pasta dish that he actually requested me to find a recipe for (as well as to make!) So, I found this recipe from the Kraft Foods magazine I receive for free every few months in the mail, and Viola! Tres Magnifique! He LOVED it, and I'm jubilant because I was worried that it was going to turn out a)rubbery, b)burnt, or c)burnt AND rubbery. But it was well received by my hubby, and for this, I'm a bit ecstatic! Oh yes, for the recipe, go to this website:

As for the cheese, I used the 2% Fat Cheese instead of the regular kind (to cut back in calories). Plus, I heated the cheese and soupy mixture on the stove rather than using the microwave. And I didn't use any broccoli florets since my chef used them all up the night before..lol. All in all, it turned out well!

JURY DUTY

This morning started off the usual way each morning starts off. However, since my sis had a court jury summons for court duty, she told me to check the post office box (in case I got one as well). Well, we didn't check until this morning, and we were both running about like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to rearrange our schedules for this unanticipated event. Fortunately, Leigh stayed here in town while I went through phase one of the jury selection. Then I went through phase two of the jury selection. And despite ALL of the time I spent at the courthouse, I didn't have to serve as a juror. It wasn't too bad, but I was a bit worried because I missed my workshop training at school due to this unexpected detour. But, all's well that ends well. Once I got home, I watched "Judge Judy" episodes on tv...How crazy am I?!? LOL. Anyway, I think she's cool because she's so direct and no-nonsense.
